Do you remember how old you were when you got your first credit card?Well, for most of us, it’s probably after we started working.
For Mickey Huang and Summer Meng’s year old daughter Little Corn, well, she already has one.
On Monday (May 15), Mickey, 51, took to Facebook to share a video of Summer’s Mother’s Day celebration.
In the clip, Mickey asked Little Corn: “I’m helping you take your mum out for a Mother’s Day feast, can we use your credit card?”
“You have so much money in the Union Bank of Taiwan, and I applied for a Visa card for you. I’ll help you pay using that, okay?,” he continued.
Little Corn’s response? A super cheeky smile which Mickey conveniently took as a “yes”.
In case you’re wondering, Little Corn didn’t just pay for Summer’s meal, she also treated Mickey and six friends of her parents who were at the dinner too.
When speaking to the media at a recent charity event, Mickey was asked about his video. That conversation led Taiwanese actress Chen Ming-chu, who, like Mickey is also an ambassador of the charity, to exclaim: “Little Corn has a credit card?! You know even I don’t have one? I’m using my brother’s credit card.”
Mickey then revealed that Little Corn already has a six-figure sum in savings.
“The money mainly came from the red packets she received when she was born, as well as her full month party and Chinese New Year this year,” he explained.
When a reporter remarked: “That’s more money than I have in my account”, Mickey replied: “Huh?! Really? Then do you want to be my child instead?”
